About the ONU ILJ

The Ohio Northern International Law Journal (ONU ILJ) covers a variety of international issues and topics in both private and public international law from scholars and legal practitioners, and also publishes student-written work. The ONU ILJ is published once a year by students at Ohio Northern University Pettit College of law. The ONU ILJ publications generally conform to the style conventions of The Chicago Manual of Style and to the citation conventions of The Bluebook.

Articles will be reviewed by our faculty advisors and/or other scholars in our peer network, as well as through the International Law Journal Executive Board. Once an article has been selected, the author will be contacted for further information on the publication process.

Journal statistics

The acceptance rate of articles for publication is 80%. The average time an author will need to wait between submission and first decision is one month. Publication is done at the end of the school year in May.

Publication fee

There is no publication fee.
